About

For many years Mark Pyruz collaborated with Nader Uskowi at Uskowi on Iran, specializing in topics that included Iran’s military and that country’s involvement in regional wars. Intel on Iran is a new solo effort, reflecting in many ways a continuation of that effort.

The site’s navbar pages include links from UOI's previous eight years of publishing. (Appreciation to Mr. Uskowi for his kind permission in reposting.) Note: this writer took a year off so there were no postings in 2016.

An empathetic approach is included in reporting at Intel on Iran; in an effort to produce greater clarity, with a more objective, dispassionate rendering. It should in no way be interpreted as supportive, endorsing or even sympathetic. Furthermore it is not intended as political perspective or activism.
